"I want to shine on...

...in the hearts of men. I want a meaning from the back of my broken hand."

Earlier this weekend, I found my CrossFit anthem -- that thing that gets you up in the morning and pulls at your inner beast. Thanks to a successful Spartan Challenge performance, inspiring coaches, and the motivating CrossFit Central promo video (huge props to whoever put that together) I've been stepping up a bit more to be more mentally and physically committed to seeing a bigger change.

Crystal's Indoor Class - 5:45a.m.
Today's WOD - A benchmark workout - "Angie". Cutoff time 25min.

  • 100 Pull ups
  • 100 Push ups
  • 100 Sit ups
  • 100 Air squats

My results: 16:33
Not bad. In Crystal's own words "I crushed it". Huzzah! Coming from her, a total compliment.

I am beginning to really tell a difference in the awakening of my body and the strength of my core. In another month or so, I'll reassess whether or not it's a good time to start lessons at
Blue Lapis Light.

Nothing like a great
Killer's song to help fuel my inner fire.

See ya again in 3 months, Angie!
